Overcoming formidable challenges, New City focused more on the scope of providing installation of windows and doors, building envelope remediation, asbestos removal, and caulking. 

Completed in 2018, the Ted Kuhn Front now houses families. Providing spacious rooms and sound installation.

New Pointe Terrace After

Adjacent to the renowned St. John’s School is the New Pointe Terrace property. 

Built-in 2014 and housing 54 units, including a thorough renovation, the property received a structural benefit as a result of Consultant CCI Engineering. The structure also houses retail and shop space on the ground floor,

With its concrete-framed structure and mid-rise stance, this building is close to restaurants, grocery stores, and amenities on West Broadway. The property features a bike room, and in-suite laundry, storage, wheelchair access, and an elevator.

Mages Secondary 

Magee Secondary School is a public sector school on West 49th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. 

 

 

 

 

The most notable thing about this property is the fact that it is one of the first public high schools located in the Kerrisdale neighbourhood and is close to several elementary schools in the catchment area.

The scope of work was building envelope, windows, and doors installation, waterproof membrane installation, brick demolition, and installation, metal roofing system, installation of asphalt and sidewalks, and painting.

The structural integrity of the building allows students to connect and accommodate a surge in student population. The school was constructed in the Kerrisdale neighbourhood to enable students to occupy the facilities and be close to their homes. 

Ellington

The Ellington property is a 740 sq.ft property located in Burnaby neighbourhood, West End. Within proximity to the English Bay area and mountains, this stunning property also houses spacious rooms, with a large patio on the 17th floor. 

With stainless appliances and laminate flooring, New City made sure to focus on detail and care to the building. There is a large social room that is currently used to view the Grand Piano. This property is more suited for people who are looking for a new apartment to rent in the West End.

There is upgraded lighting throughout with a separate dining area. Many windows and lights were installed as it is important to make the place feel lively. Apart from the separate dining areas are laundry room is large storage.

Dunbar Apartments

Situated in Vancouver, BC, the Dunbar Apartments is a new form of residential property. With 4 levels and 60 suites, these apartments provide good insulation and space. 

New City was contracted to support the development of this project across the following areas installation of the wall-cladding system, exterior lights, new railings, vinyl windows and doors, elevator modernization and mechanical work, and many other upgrades and new installations to support the building and what encompasses it.
