Meeting the challenges of project management requires a detailed understanding of time management, cost management, quality management, decision making, mathematics, working drawings, public safety, and human resources. At New City, your project management team has access to a wealth of experience and knowledge because we have worked on projects of all sizes and complexities across the Lower Mainland. Our expertise is delivered through processes refined by widely varied projects we’ve accomplished.
Our unique program is based on three phases of project management:
- Pre-construction. On-site meetings are organized to prepare budgets and internally review schedules, drawings, specifications, and project cash flow, to name a few. We also put together the resources for relaying the communication plan, obtaining permits, insurance, WorkSafe documents, and sourcing equipment and other materials for the project.
- Construction. We implement site mobilization and access, schedule work plans to the crew, and identify deficiencies in records. We also coordinate and supervise subcontractors, sub-trades, and labourers, providing regular updates on project costs and savings, overall work progress, and resolutions to any issues raised by our clients.
- Post-construction. We organize a follow-up site meeting with owners and consultants for final project inspection. We also collect and organize the required warranty documents. We provide the material lists and safety data sheets to the building owners.
Our personalized service is delivered seamlessly through a consolidated point of contact. A dedicated project management team is assigned to coordinate all work, customize solutions, and ensure everything is up to spec.
